Forged Bread Knife Serrated
Slice thru food that is hard on the outside but soft on the inside, such as breads and rolls. The serrations on the blade grab hold of the thick, rough crust of a loaf so it can be sliced. Because a good, hard crust withstands the repeated sawing of a nonserrated blade, a bread knife is essential for slicing evenly and safely though breads.
